I started my professional career at Hungary's most famous photo agency, MTI Photography. I worked there until the fall of communism, from 1974-1989. I reported on the regime change to the French Sygma Photo Agency in 1989. In the years that followed, my images appeared in Paris Match, Newsweek and other foreign magazines through Sygma... I am a documentary photographer, I like in-depth topics, I think in photo series. I build my projects reflecting on social issues very consciously, starting with a phase where I deepen my own understanding and conduct background research... Fotós családból származom, nagybátyám, akit nem ismerhettem, Székely Aladár, apám Horvát Tamás fotóművész, a Fotóművészeti Szövetség, a Képes Újság, a Fény-Szöv és a Főfotó alapítója az MTI Fotó igazgatója, a külföldi képszolgálat létrehozója. Anyám az első női laboráns Magyarországon, a háromtálas papírelőhívó rendszer kidolgozója.
