HydrationReview was founded by two friends who met during their freshman year on their college rowing team. As D1 collegiate athletes, they developed an appreciation for hydration in terms of physical performance at practice and mental acuity in the classroom. Both founders also bring a unique perspective to HydrationReview based on their work experiences and personal interests. Ellis, in addition to being a healthcare strategy consultant, is a part-time wilderness guide who's led multi-day group expeditions in the Flat Tops Wilderness Area of Colorado. He's seen firsthand the importance of staying hydrated during long expeditions that cover up to 10 miles per day on foot. Joe works for a cleantech company and tries to spend as much time as possible enjoying the outdoors. His favorite activities include hiking, running and golfing.
