ISMSP-MM is raising funds to support people in Myanmar who are suffering from COVID-19 infection. Funds collected for COVID-19 response are used to provide medical supplies and other COVID-19 medical services related fees (oximeters, glucometers, oxygen concentrator rents, internet/phone bills) to the volunteer health care workers who are providing COVID-19 related health care services via tele-consultation or home-based care. Majority of severe patients of COVID-19 have co-morbidities (example: diabetes, hypertension). Given that, it is important that the population have access to continuum of care especially essential basic health care services whenever they need. That is why funds collected are also allocated for the volunteer health care workers to be able to provide basic primary health care services.
