Alan Paquette

Vice President of Property Management | A graduate of Troy University, Alan Paquette has over 30 years' experience in the commercial real estate industry. While at JWA, he has been involved in all aspects of real estate development and management, including operations, leasing, sales and tenant construction. Designated a CSM in 1999, he is an active member of ICSC. Mr. Paquette is very involved in his community, serving on the Board of Education and the recently formed Healthcare Authority Board in Hoover, AL.

Alan Reeves

Vice President of Finance | Alan Reeves is responsible for financial planning and analysis for Jim Wilson & Associates and participates in the management operations of a number of JWA investments, most notably A&W Enterprises. Mr. Reeves joined JWA from BSR Trust where he was an Acquisitions and Development Analyst after beginning his career at TSYS (now Global Payments) in Atlanta. Mr. Reeves received both his Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Masters of Business Administration from Troy University.

Alice S. Russell - VP

Vice President of Legal | Alice S. Russell specializes in the preparation and negotiation of tenant leases, and the review and negotiation of contracts and other documents required for the day-to-day operations of shopping centers. With a 41-year history with Jim Wilson & Associates, her duties include the coordination with outside counsel of the preparation and review of real estate contracts, commercial real estate closings and serving as legal counsel for JWA. Mrs. Russell graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts degree and obtained a law degree from Jones School of Law.

Anita Carter

Vice President of Residential Development and Marketing | Anita Carter serves as Vice President of Residential Development and Marketing. In this position Ms. Carter is responsible for the development, sales, marketing and daily operations of the company's residential real estate projects. Ms. Carter, is also responsible for implementing marketing strategies across the JWA portfolio. She provides support on a wide variety of services from creating brand awareness, social media management, public relations and event coordination. Ms. Carter has over 32 years of experience in the real estate industry and has managed and marketed a variety of retail, commercial and residential real estate projects throughout the Southeast. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management from Auburn University Montgomery and Masters in Business Administration from Troy University. She earned an Alabama Real Estate Broker License in 2011 and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Carl Bartlett - EVP

Executive Vice President | Carl Bartlett joined Jim Wilson & Associates in 1981 and is responsible for the company's operations and management, including asset management for retail and office projects, residential operations, accounting, marketing and human resources. Mr. Bartlett received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Auburn University and a Juris Doctor degree from Cumberland School of Law.

Heather King

Job Titles:

Controller | Heather King serves as controller for JWA and oversees all financial and tax reporting matters of the company and directs the corporate accounting department. She is a graduate of Troy University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master's degree in Business Administration. In 2000, she received the Certified Public Accountant designation and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Jack Darnall

JAMES WINFREY WILSON, III

Remembering trustee Jim Wilson, an integral builder of the Alabama football dynasty Jim Wilson, III (June 14, 1963 - March 11, 2023) an Alabama business leader, was a dynamic individual and an impactful philanthropist. He used his time and resources to make life better for so many. Jim will also be remembered for his unrivaled charisma, unfiltered humor and unfettered love for his family, friends and JWA. Jim's leadership, service and dedication will continue to have a lasting impact on JWA as well as the many companies, institutions and individuals not only in the State of Alabama but across the country with whom Jim worked. Jim, along with his brother Will, successfully built upon the legacy of the firm's founder and their father Jim Wilson, Jr. where building blocks of success continue to support the ideals of the Wilson Family and its businesses. Jim Wilson, Jr. (January 29, 1935 - September 21, 2006) left behind far more than a business - he left behind a legacy of hard work, integrity and generosity. His insistence on doing things the right way every day continues to guide JWA, just as his love and enthusiasm for the work - and the people who worked with him - continues to inspire us. He exemplified character, commitment and friendship. It was our privilege to work with him, to know him, and to learn from him. Generosity was one of Mr. Wilson's foremost qualities, and many arts and education institutions benefited from Mr. Wilson's philanthropic commitment. Today, his son Will Wilson continues to honor his father's legacy through support of various organizations. This tradition of giving is a hallmark of the JWA culture.

Ronnie Brown - CFO, EVP

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer | Ronnie Brown is responsible for investment and asset management, accessing capital markets, investor relations and evaluating new business opportunities for JWA. Mr. Brown has completed capital transactions in excess of $2 billion since joining JWA, including equity raises, debt originations, mergers, acquisitions and dispositions. Prior to joining JWA, Mr. Brown was in corporate development for The Weather Channel Companies and VP-Finance/Corporate Operations for a publicly traded internet consulting firm. Mr. Brown began his career in real estate taxation and consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Accounting from Washington & Lee University, a Master's in Business Administration from Emory University's Goizueta School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Will Wilson - President

President | Will Wilson, with over thirty years of commercial real estate experience, provides leadership and direction for Jim Wilson & Associates (JWA) for both internal and third-party interests, including shopping centers, multi-use commercial projects, industrial parks and residential development featuring both multi-family and single-family projects. This extensive background of experience begins with local involvement and extends to national recognition. Wilson is a long-tenured member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He serves as Vice Chairman of The Committee of 100, the economic development committee of the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce, is a Board Member of the Alabama Wildlife Federation and is a Trustee of Huntingdon College where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.

Woody Rush - SVP

Senior Vice President of Leasing | With more than 42 years in the shopping center industry, Woody Rush serves as Senior Vice President of Leasing for Jim Wilson & Associates. He is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and earned an Alabama Real Estate Broker License in 1994. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
