JUST-ABLE

JUST-Able project follows the basic principle of community programs development "nothing about us, without us!'. JUST-Able aims to create a database mainly for (people with Disabilities (PwD) and their caregivers). The database follows the statement "Know before you go," it will offer complete information about the accessibility of public places in Jordan and reduce the undesired burden and transportation cost. Specifically, JUST-Able targets females as the majority of PwD in Jordan are females, and they face double discrimination. PwD's in Jordan stated that the city's buildings and outdoor places are inaccessible and restrict their independent mobility...
