Alexandra Mendoza graduated from UC San Diego in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a specialization in Cognitive Science. She has extensive experience in the field of Neuropsychology by having administered neuropsychological assessments for patients experiencing cognitive difficulties. She hopes to become a Clinical Neuropsychologist that specializes in Trauma in the future.

Anjali graduated with a masters degree in biosciences. She has received extensive training in Medical and Psychiatric Clinical Trials and holds research certification from the University of California San Diego. As a sub-investigator overseeing numerous clinical trials in Schizophrenia, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, and Substance Disorders, Anjali mastered the art and science of psychometric data collection that included SCID, CAPS, BDI, HAM-D, EPDS and several other scales.
Anjali transitioned from her Clinician Researcher role to business operations, human resource administration, and providing strategic oversight and direction to the growth of Karma Doctors & Karma TMS companies. Additionally, she enjoys the interface of Neurotechnology and Mental Health. In this role she has helped in the development and implementation of Karma EHR as well as training herself in the application of Neurofeedback, NuCalm, and TMS.
Anjali's all-inclusive role as Chief Operating Officer includes oversight, implementation, and optimization of Operational capabilities across the companies. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, yoga, and creative painting.

Asya graduated from Heritage University with a Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies. She later advanced her expertise by obtaining her Doctorate degree in Medical Science. She is currently working in primary care and endocrinology. She oversees multiple clinical trials as a Sub-Investigator. Asya soon became aware of the prominence of psychiatric issues and the importance of mental health across all her patient populations.
She joined Dr. Sunder and his team at that time. She has been a provider for Karma Doctors and Associates for about 3 years. She is passionate about providing holistic care and is a firm believer of optimal mental health as the foundation of it. She specializes in managing mood, psychiatric, and addiction disorders. When she is not busy taking care of patients, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, shopping, and traveling.
Dr. Zhang received his B.A. in Psychology at the University of California, San Diego and his D.O./MBA dual degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine/Troy University. Dr. Zhang served as Chief Resident of Psychiatry at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, CA during his residency training. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, experiencing new cultures, and eating dim sum.
Dr. Waseem Khader is an osteopathic physician who grew up in West Virginia. He completed his residency training at Marshall University where he obtained board certification in Family Medicine. He is completing his fellowship training at Loma Linda University and is in the process of obtaining his second board certification in Addiction Medicine. Dr. Khader practices medicine with the understanding that true healing involves treatment of the mind, body, and spirit unique to each individual.

Joshua graduated from California Baptist University with a Master's degree in Sport and Performance Psychology. He also played collegiate baseball for California State University, San Bernardino where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Science. After his time at California Baptist, he began an internship with Dr. Sunder which transitioned into his current role with Karma Doctors & Associates.
His all-inclusive role encompasses business development, oversight of trainee orientation, schedules, and graduation, as well as managing clinical and administrative staff for the thriving practice.

Nicole Wright completed her Physician Assistant education at Southern California University of Health Sciences. She has volunteered with organizations such as All Hands in Leogane, Haiti to provide relief and aid to people devastated by the 2010 earthquake. Nicole enjoys the challenges of acute settings such as Urgent Care but equally appreciates taking care of chronic conditions such as mood, anxiety and substance use disorders.

Punit Patel completed his Physician Assistant education at Arcadia University. Punit is passionate about integrative psychiatry, telepsychiatry and neuromodulation modalities. A movie buff, Punit can be found relaxing with Netflix in his spare time.

Rachel recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and Justice Studies from California State University San Marcos. She is an aspiring Law Student, who also has a deep interest in Psychiatry.
Rachel started her journey with us as an Intern, during which she mastered the administration of various Neuromodulation and Biofeedback modalities. Rachel seamlessly integrated into the team with her charismatic personality, adept organizational skills, and her resourceful attitude.
She transitioned from her role as an intern to Executive Practice Administrator. Rachel's all-encompassing role includes ensuring that company goals and objectives are accomplished, and operations run efficiently, coordinating internal and external resources to expedite workflow, liaising with other executives on various projects and tasks, and coordinating and managing executive scheduling.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys catching up on the latest episodes of Law & Order.
We are delighted to introduce the most experienced member of our team - Rachel McDuffie. Rachel graduated from Kansas State University with an undergraduate degree in Life Sciences, before pursuing her Physicians Associate Degree at Wichita State University as a National Health Service Corps Scholar, where she graduated Cum Lade.
Rachel joined our team in 2018, but has been practicing since 2003 with more than 19 years of experience. She started her journey in Family Medicine, later transitioning into Surgery and Pain Management, before finding her true passion in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. Rachel enjoys working toward improved quality of life outcomes for patients and sustained recovery through connection-based relationships.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her daughter, studying theology, reading, and walks on the beach. She is also an avid NFL fan, and loves the Kansas City Chiefs.
