JDRF MIBC

The JDRF Microbiome Initiative Bioinformatics Center (JDRF-MIBC), sponsored by the JDRF, aims to create a common framework of computing infrastructure, software, and protocols to help translate microbiome research into actionable type 1 diabetes (T1D) diagnostics and therapies. We seek to implement scalable tools for data storage, retrieval, and integration; implement a web interface for data retrieval and deposition; and support and train the microbiome consortium. The Center will leverage existing computational infrastructure of the Harvard University Research Computing team. Members of the consortium include microbiome research groups from across the world.
