Kitty is currently working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Institute of Textiles and Clothing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She obtained her PhD in Fashion and Textile Design in 2017, and her research is interdisciplinary and focuses on the application of medical fibre in fashion design, to create functional clothing to provide wear comfort and medical purposes for patients with skin disease. She has published several conference and journal papers. She is specialised in knitwear fashion design and had worked for several local fashion companies as a Freelance Designer, Product Developer, Designer and Design Assistant in fashion industry for years. Her previous collection was presented in Hong Kong Fashion Week organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and also awarded the Merit Award of the 3rd China (Lingwu) International Cashmere Design Contest.
