Gary Kraemer and his father John started the company in 1978. Gary has worked in every aspect of the company from laborer to carpenter, to his current role as President of the company. He has over 40 years of experience in the construction business. Gary is committed to providing the finest quality, craftsmanship, and customer service that his clients deserve. He strives to go above and beyond all expectations to make sure that all of his clients' needs are completely fulfilled.
In 2017 Gary earned his fourth Builder of the Year Award from Housing First MN. This honor is in recognition of trust, communication, loyalty, ethics, and customer satisfaction. This is the most coveted distinction a member of the association can receive.
Gary is one of the select group of professional builders who have earned the Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) designation, identifying him as one of the building industry's top professionals. The CGB is an exclusive designation, emphasizing expertise in several areas key to home building and business management. This designation requires several hours of course study and must be renewed every three years. Only one other builder in the State of Minnesota, and only 517 builders nationwide have earned this designation. Gary's experience and knowledge truly set him apart in our industry. He is also a Certified Green Professional (CGP).
Gary is the proud father of three sons - John, Jeff, and Evan, and Grandfather of four. Gary is also very involved in his community. He has served on the boards of several charitable foundations and was a youth baseball coach for 24 years. He is currently serving as President of Housing First MN.

Jeff and his brother John represent the third generation of builders at John Kraemer and Sons. From a young age Jeff's love and passion for construction was very apparent. Growing up in a construction family, Jeff has worked in several different roles, from laborer to carpenter to Project Manager, and now in his current role as Director of Project Management.
Jeff is a great advocate for our clients and is always working tirelessly to make sure that all of our customers are more than satisfied with their experience with John Kraemer and Sons.
Jeff has always been interested in the family business, which inspired him to go to college and earn his degree in construction management. In the Spring of 2009 Jeff graduated Cum Laude from Minnesota State University - Mankato with a degree in Construction Management and immediately joined the family business upon graduation.
In 2010 Jeff married his high school sweetheart, Megan. Jeff, Megan, their daughter Brynn, and son Camden currently reside in Chanhassen.

John and his brother Jeff represent the third generation of builders at John Kraemer and Sons. Named after his grandfather, John has been interested and involved in the family business since he was a child.
John is a tremendous advocate for our clients and works closely with all of them to ensure that John Kraemer & Sons not only satisfies, but exceeds their expectations. Like his namesake, John thrives on working with people to bring their dreams to reality.
In 2006 John graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN where he studied business and communication. After college John married his wife Lauren, who he met on the very first day of freshman orientation. John also holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. John, Lauren, their daughter Mallory, and son Samuel currently reside in Edina. John is very active in the community, and currently enjoys summers volunteering as a youth baseball and softball coach.
