Chip Duggan

Liminal Shift was created in Portland, OR after working for a wonderful general contracting company Revive Remodeling. The strong building ethics inspired a path for a new company. Taking away the practical experience in construction and injecting the philosophical and visionary parts from Chip's background brings a full cohesive outlook on problem solving, project management and collaboration. Chip has strong values in sustainability, aesthetics, ethical practices, and helping people to achieve their goals.

DAVID KLEIN

Job Titles:
  • Designer
David, a contemplative, curious, and lighthearted individual graduated from Portland Community College with a degree in Architectural Design and Drafting. His love for Architecture began as a kid building Legos. David works on our design team, designing 3D renderings and fine tuning the details needed to get a project started. David's role is essential to getting ideas and details communicated to builders and workers. His experience and eye for detail, have us excited to be working with David.

EMMA GOMEZ

Job Titles:
  • Interior Designer
  • Social Media Manager
Emma, a motivated and artistic, open-mind, has always dreamed of being an Interior Designer. She earned her bachelor's in Business Administration with an emphasis in entrepreneurship, hoping to own her design company one day. Emma's communication with homeowners, helps better understand the unique goals of a project from start to finish. By presenting a visual representation of a homeowner's ideas, the creative logistics are clear and concise. Being able to make a homeowner's dream, for a room, come true while making it a stress-free, fun process is Emma's goal.

GABRIEL WHITLATCH

Job Titles:
  • Lead Designer / Tillamook, or
Gabriel, an honest, thorough, and dry-humored team member graduated from Portland Community College. His initial interest in the industry stemmed from working his first full-time job for a contractor on the Oregon coast. Gabriel meets with clients to gain insight into their project goals and preferences and creates design solutions. We are lucky to have someone who is as dependable as he is trustworthy, on our team.

LYON WOLFF

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager / Vancouver, WA
Often described as the "World's Best Dad", Lyon, a critical thinker who is trustworthy and reliable, went to Lower Columbia College. Lyon started construction when he was 17 and would leave school every day at noon to work. The influence of his grandfather and father who were both carpenters initially got Lyon into the industry. His job involves him working with subcontractors and homeowners, and often finds himself doing custom work for our clients. We are grateful to have Lyon on our team to help build dream homes for other people.

NATE BARON JR.

Job Titles:
  • Carpenter Apprentice / Junior Project Manager / Beaverton, or
Nate has always had interest in building, crafting, and anything hands on. Nate takes on the details and ensures communication between subcontractors is smooth and effective. Seeing a project from beginning to end and admire all the hard work that went into it, is one of Nate's favorite things about his job. Nate is very attentive and caring and we are proud to have him on our team!
