Our process is totally sealed, therefore we only use 29% of the energy compared to cold chamber die casting (0.67 KJ/g vs. 2.3 KJ/g). The temperature of the semi-solid slurry is between 480°C and 580°C. Compare this to a cold chamber die casting temperature of between 680°C and 700°C.
