Alex Panas

Alex is McKinsey's global leader of industry sectors, which spans the firm's work on banking and insurance, consumer, healthcare and public sector, advanced industries, private equity, technology, media and telecom, energy and materials, travel, infrastructure and logistics, and life sciences. Alex previously led our Advanced Industries Practice globally. This includes the automotive, industrial, semiconductor, and aerospace and defense sectors. A former global leader of the firm's Private Equity & Principal Investors Practice, Alex has also led a number of important client capabilities, including McKinsey Academy and Wave. The primary focus of Alex's client work is on strategy, commercial, investment, M&A, and operational topics. András Kadocsa

András leads the advanced-industries work in Central Europe, focusing on the automotive, aerospace and defense, and electronics sectors and other discrete manufacturing industries. He also coleads our digital-manufacturing initiative globally, an effort focused on getting ahead of the next wave of digitization in the manufacturing sector-also referred to as Industry 4.0. As an advisor to executives, András works with clients seeking production innovation and operational improvements, helping them realize the benefits that can come with digital disruption. Since joining the firm, András has served automotive original equipment manufacturers and suppliers, as well as other companies in the electronics, aerospace, and energy sectors. In addition to leading operational-performance improvement, he also guides improvements to product and production design and assists in longer-term strategic planning. András often conducts rapid diagnostics to determine a company's situation and identify sources of value; he then tailors delivery options to match the opportunity, from proof-of-concept to value assurance to full-scale transformations.

Ani Kelkar
