Aisha finished her BA in Marketing at the Modern Science and Arts University in 2019. She began her career as a Marketer spending only 1 year before deciding to take the risk of switching to teaching career where she believed it was her passion. Since then, Aisha started working in International Schools, teaching English mainly to KG and Primary grades. She found herself creating strong bonds with her young students through love, patience and care. Aisha believes that the first few years of a student's life at school are the most important as it plays an instrumental role for building a child's character. Aisha has a passion for photography, travelling, painting and listening to music.
Alba finished her B.A in Elementary Education from The Autonomous University of Barcelona. Alba has worked eight years in Barcelona as an Elementary teacher. She moved to Cairo in 2022 and has worked in Helwan University as Spanish teacher. Following this she studied an MA degree in ELE at The International University of La Rioja. Her main hobbies are travelling, reading, spend quality time with family and practice acroyoga. As a language teacher she promotes enjoyable sessions to consolidate significant learning in students.

Her love for Math is hereditary across 3 generations. She has extensive experience in teaching Math for different elementary stages for more than 5 years. She serves as a facilitator of learning, providing students with the knowledge and tools to solve problems and then encouraging students to be autonomous learners. Students learn in different ways, so she keeps up with the best practices for differentiation. Dalia regularly incorporates them into her instruction to support all of her students in learning. She also understands there may be multiple ways to solve problems and uses those alternate strategies to help struggling students grasp difficult concepts.

Deena Anwar is a graduate of Ain Shams University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Mathematics.
During her 12 years of teaching, Deena has gained experience and official certification in some of the most innovative and advanced teaching styles available in mainstream education, such as the IB (IB category 1, and 2) and Montessori systems (Certified Montessori teacher), in addition to delivering mathematics within the American system. With her extensive experience through elementary and middle school, she can bring a broad range of approaches to help her students achieve their potential in mathematics.
As a lifelong learner and 21st-century teacher, Deena continues to explore different aspects of education. She has attended courses in training peers (Pearson Certified Trainer), digital instruction for students using the Nearpod platform (Nearpod Certified Educator), and creating digital student portfolios, with Seesaw (Seesaw Ambassador).
Destiny has earned a BA in Psychology with a fo cus on child hood development from Tampa, Florida. She is certified to teach Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Diallo started her teaching experience in early childhood in 2010. She has enjoyed getting to know different cultures and people from around the world during her time in Egypt. She worked before in several NGOs for women and children in Africa, specifically in Guinea Conakry (West Africa), where she is from. Diallo is certified in computer science and languages. Dr. Habib is the second of three generations in a family of educators in Egypt. As a life- long educator and philanthropist, Dr. Habib has made a significant contribution to education in Egypt and beyond, helping students transform their careers and lives, and bringing prosperity to many along the way.
He has owned and operated several KG - 12 schools and institutes throughout Egypt.
Dr. Habib was awarded the Pioneers of Private Education Badge of Honor by the Minister of Education, elected as the private school representative for the Governate of Cairo, and is a Member of the Supreme Advisory Committee for Education Development in Cairo.
Dr. Habib was awarded a Ph.D. in Management in 1998.

Ereeny Yacoub, has 17 years of experience in the field of Development and Education. Ereeny worked as a Manging Director/ Partner in Wadi Environmental Science Centre, WESC, developing and implementing environmental science fieldtrips to school students. The company had also implemented projects with international donors and companies such as EU, UNWOMEN, GIZ, EFG Hermes and others. The focus of her work has been on providing experiential learning to students through collaborative hands-on educational methodologies. The centre has also trained school teachers on curriculum mapping and innovative teaching skills.
In 2019 Ereeny took an assignment of co-managing a private school in Alexandria (Janaklees) for 6 months, where she put teaching strategies and monitored more than 250 teachers' performance across all grade levels, from KG to High school.
Ereeny has also led the Educational Production Department at Madrasty for Education start up. The focus of the company is providing an online learning platform with affordable quality education for Egyptian National curriculum. The platform features educational videos, live sessions, educational songs as well as question banks as a substitute to private tutoring.

Fady finished his BA in Mechanical Engineering at AUC with a minor in business administration. He has extensive experience teaching physics and advanced physics to graduate and undergraduate students with an exceptional record of exceeding the expectation for the students grades. Moreover, he is a certified IB tutor with Cat.2 and Cat.3 certifications. His main hobbies are Football and Gym.
Fady finished his Bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Misr International University in 2013. Fady started working in teaching after graduation. He has seven years of experience in other international schools. His main experience is in high and middle school, he loves building good and healthy relations with his students. Farah was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. She has a double major in marketing and innovation technology from The German University in Cairo, and currently working on getting her sports psychology degree. Farah is a professional Basketball player at Gezira Sporting Club and coaches in a private basketball academy. She started her teaching career back in the academic year 2017/2018 at the physical education department teaching early years, elementary and high school. Farah chose this career because she's passionate about sports.

George was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. He finished his Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy at Misr International University (MIU), Cairo, Egypt in 2007. George returned to Egypt in 2012 where he started his career in education at international schools. He taught Biology and Chemistry in American, British, and IB educational systems. He believes that students can only learn from teachers they like.

She came to Egypt in 2000 and has worked in Port Said American School, Misr Language School, and El Alsson American International School as a Middle and High School English and Social Studies teacher as well as a Department Chair. While in El Alsson, Helen completed her M.Ed in Educational Administration and moved into administration as the High School Assistant Principal. When El Alsson moved the campus to New Giza, Helen changed roles, taking over as the Assistant Principal for Teaching and Learning. She has extensive experience in curriculum development, teacher professional development, and providing both academic and career guidance for High School. She has a passion for teaching and believes in providing learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. Jihane holds a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Cairo University. She has over 10 years of experience in the educational field. My name is Matt Novak, and I am excited to be joining the Metropolitan School community as your Elementary School Principal this upcoming 2022-23 school year.
I am originally from Kansas City, Missouri in the United States. I am preparing for my upcoming wedding with my fiancée Sherry, who is from Egypt, and we are looking forward to calling Cairo our home for many more years to come. Together, we enjoy raising our very energetic golden retriever Bella, cooking, baking, game nights, trips to the beach, and traveling. I also enjoy reading and running.
Next year will be my 15 th year in elementary education. I began my career teaching Grade 2 in the United States before beginning my international teaching journey. Since then, I have taught each of Grades 1-5 in three different countries, including three years as a Grade 4 teacher here in Cairo. Most recently, I have served as an Elementary School Assistant Principal at American International School for the past five years. I have experience in both American and IB curriculums and am driven by a passion for helping students, teachers, and families reach their goals and achieve their fullest potential.
One of the many reasons why I enjoy working in schools is because of my lifelong love for learning. I have earned a bachelor's degree in psychology, and master's degrees in both elementary education and international education administration. I am currently completing a graduate certificate in school management and leadership, and I am always finding ways to both learn from and share my learning with the students and adults around me. As an educator for 18 years, Mr. Ernie Espino began his teaching career in 2005 as a 4th/5th-grade bilingual teacher in Garland ISD. After being a classroom teacher for 6 years he decided to take on administrative roles after completing his master's degree in educational leadership in 2011.
His administrative career began in 2011, serving as an instructional specialist. In 2012 he accepted a position as the Bilingual/ESL Coordinator for the Tyler ISD. He later accepted his first campus leadership role as an assistant principal at Carver Elementary School in Garland ISD. Shortly after he transitioned over to the secondary level as assistant principal of Naaman Forest High School. In 2016 Mr. Espino was promoted and opened Weaver Elementary Mandarin Chinese and Leadership Magnet School as the campus principal. Most recently, Mr. Espino has served as the principal of the Universal American School in Kuwait.

Our Chairman is the owner of the long-established St. Fatima Schools in Cairo, with a track record of 10 years of providing high-quality affordable education. Ms. Anjanette Jones is an American educator with 28 years of experience, four of those being in international schools in the United Arab Emirates and Turkey. She earned a bachelor's and master's degree in early childhood and elementary education from the University of Montevallo as well as an additional master's degree in guidance and counseling from the University of West Alabama. Anjanette believes that learning is a lifelong process; therefore she is currently pursuing her PhD. in Education at Selinus University in Italy.
Anjanette has experience in the American, British, and IB curriculums. Her educational career experience has been as an elementary classroom teacher, elementary and high school guidance counselor, ESL specialist for elementary and middle school, kindergarten director, and kindergarten and elementary principal. She has three children who live in their home state of Alabama, U.S.A. When she is not at school, Anjanette enjoys painting, music, and traveling.

Myles finished her BA at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY in Education with an emphasis in Mathematics. From this experience, she worked with students in high-needs schools both one-on-one and in a classroom setting. Myles has been working in a teaching capacity for over 10 years as a tutor and as a classroom teacher. Myles moved to Egypt in 2012 and has been working as a classroom teacher from KG1 to grade 3 ever since.
Myles' main hobbies are reading, traveling, saying she's going to learn Arabic, and attempting to learn the ukulele.
Nicole is an American teacher who graduated from Moreland University in Washington, D.C. She also holds a B.A from Post University in Marketing and Masters in Business Administration (MBA). This will be her 6th year teaching. She has experience teaching students of all ages and backgrounds, from complete beginners to advanced university students. She loves to motivate her students and make learning a comfortable and enjoyable experience. She is also IB PYP certified with five years of experience.

Mrs. Niveen started her career in education the year 2006 as a high school teacher after graduating from faculty of Arts department of English literature. All her years of experience are in international American education. She believes that "Each and every student is special in his/her own way".

Rola recently earned her BS degree in Elementary Education from Towson University in Maryland. She has taught all subject areas in kindergarten, third grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade during her rotations in the Elementary Education program. My name is Sam Jabri. I am born and raised in San Francisco, California. I have taught the American, British and IB curriculum, I worked with young adults and children of all ages. Most recently I taught IB in English grades PYP4, 5 and MYP1. Certified teacher in PYP and MYP. Under my belt I have an IB Professional Development Teacher Certification Implementing Agency. I also have a bachelor's degree from Ashford University, as well as a Certification of teaching from Bridge Education Group TEFL. Passions of mine are art, traveling and health/fitness. Sameh finished his BA in Computer sciences at the Sadat Academy for management sciences, Egypt. Following this, he obtained an MA degree in cultural heritage management, and his thesis was about the Egyptian musical heritage at the University of Pantheon 1 Sorbonne. He also had many Piano performance certificates from the Trinity College of London. Sameh has extensive experience in music teaching, vocal training, and instrument playing. His main hobbies are traveling, excavating, and restoration. He also appreciates long walks in the forests and desert activities such as bird watching and star observing.
Sara has always been interested in the sciences and the humanities, hence, a Bachelor Degree in both Neurosciences and Literature at the University of Toronto was a dream combination for her. Her fascination of the mixture between science and language persisted as she wrote her thesis. Her topic of choice: brain functions in the world of fiction. This all culminated in her desire to specialize in teaching and transfer her love of literature onto others, so she decided to tackle on yet another Master's Degree in Education from the University of Ottawa.
Alongside her studies, Sara started her teaching career since 2014. She had the pleasure of teaching Mathematics, Science, English, French and Social Studies in undergraduate and graduate settings. She has taught in elementary schools, in middle and high schools, at universities and in different bilingual institutes in Canada.
Sara is an avid reader and enjoys travelling and sightseeing.
Sherif graduated as a business graduate but decided to become a teacher, and completed the Professional Educator Diploma in Teaching Adolescent Learners at The American University in Cairo. He has worked as a teacher for seven years including one year as the head of the department. He has extensive experience of teaching students through to high school. His love of maths leads him to devise "The Maths Gym" program, which provides real-life examples by integrating mathematics into live sporting events as a stimulus.
Sherif is an expert at handball which he started while in elementary school and was a member of the Australian National Team for 2 years.
