Though, the endeavor to explore the world led him to pursue his study at Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, USA. Mr. Shailendra Agarwal is a former civil servant and has had an extensive, varied and fulfilling career as an IAS officer for 33 years in the State Government of Rajasthan, Government of India, and World Trade Organisation before retiring from Government service in January 2019, as Additional Chief Secretary. His career has spanned diverse sectors including Infrastructure (Power/Transport), Industries (Mines & minerals, Liquor, Tourism, Agro industries and MSMEs) as well as social and development sectors (Social welfare, Health, Archaeology and Education).He has a wide corporate experience of being on the Board of Directors of various Government and Private sector companies/Corporations and educational institutions. He has headed as Chairman, Managing Director or CMD of various large Public Sector Corporations in Power, Transport, Minerals and Tourism sector doing businesses of thousands of crores of rupees and employing several thousand people.
Mr. Shridhar has also completed his graduation at the Kelley School of Business, which ranks amongst the top 10 business schools in the US. His fondness for numbers made him choose Business Analytics as one of the majors apart from Finance. He completed his education with a triple major with the last being International Business.
He has a lot of experience & exposure to the western world community as he also did a summer school program at London School of Economics. Mr. Shridhar has attended short courses at Kellogg School of Management, Chicago & IE Business School, Spain. To take the family business to new heights, he also pursued the Family Business MBA from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. He is a stern leader with a special focus on numbers & efficiency. He drives the asset side of the business leading the sales team with a lot of vigor & enthusiasm.
Mr. Sujan Sinha, (born 12th November 1958) is a senior finance professional, with more than 3½ decades in the industry, having worked for banks and NBFCs, primarily in the retail field.
Graduating from Calcutta (Kolkata) University in Geology, Mr. Sinha qualified for selection as a Probationary Officer in the State Bank of India and joined them in December '81. He spent more than 14 years with SBI, gaining considerable experience in branch banking, personnel administration as well foreign exchange dealings.
Switching over to the private sector in 1996, he joined the east-India headquartered Usha Martin group, in their 50:50 JV with Sumitomo Corporation, Japan. From there he moved to UTI Bank (later renamed as Axis Bank) in November 1998. It was in Axis Bank that Mr. Sinha set up and assumed charge of the retail lending business of the Bank and was a very crucial member of the core team that was at the centre of Axis Bank gaining a reputation as one of the fastest growing banks in the country at that time. Mr. Sinha had been involved with significant responsibilities during his career with Axis Bank, starting from co-ordinating with renowned global corporate entities like Mitsui and Yamaha Motors for setting up a joint venture NBFC to overseeing the bank's equity investments in other NBFCs as well as credit bureaus setting up in India, like Experian.
After 12 years with this private sector lender, Mr. Sinha joined the Chennai-based Shriram Group, selected to head the newly promoted housing finance arm of the group in November 2010. Building it from scratch, Shriram Housing Finance Limited (SHFL) grew, slowly but steadily, making a name for itself in the housing finance space, especially in extending home ownership finance to the under-served segment of the population in the Tier II & III centres of the country.
He, personally, has also been involved with a few business schools in the country, as a part of their advisory setup and is also a member of the Institution of Directors (IOD). After superannuating in 2018, he is on the board of several listed and unlisted companies including a few start-ups.
Mr. Sinha, with strong family and social roots in Kolkata, lives in Mumbai with his wife who is retired from the State Bank of India.
