National Academy of Science and Art(NASA) was formally established in the UK in the year 2017, whose main purpose is to facilitate technology transfer between UK and overseas, to answer the questions after Brexit around R&D and marketization. For hundreds of years, UK has been playing as ‘BRAIN' for leading European and North American countries, which means, most of UK's advanced science and research results will be taken to countries with enormous market and capitals to create commercial value. With Brexit, wider range of funding and market for R&D will be needed to maintain a stable research environment of UK. By the end of August 2019, NASA has received over 1000 projects in the area of Healthcare, High Value Manufacturing, AI, Fintech etc, from major HE organizations, R&D institutions, and companies with technology.
