With over 25 years of organizational management & leadership experience, along with 15 years of government work experience across 3 different state agencies in 3 different counties in FL. Currently serves on the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness Homeless Youth Committee since 2017 and has built a network of over 375 professionals who have shown some level of interest in being involved with homeless youth projects. Managed the Lake County Guardian ad Litem Program office. Supervised 4 Child Advocate Managers, 2 Program Attorneys and an Office Manager, with over 150 volunteers and administrative oversight of over 525 children in Lake County under DCF court ordered protective supervision. Ian Works as an Operations Analyst for the Department of Revenue in a statewide pilot program across a tri-county area in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties with over 75,000 open child support cases and over $78 million per year in collections.

Majoring in Anthropology (Dept. Honors), with a minor in Education for his undergrad, He graduated from The University of New York, Lehman College with an MS in T.E.S.O.L. He was an Educator and a Dean and served on the School Administrator's cabinet of advisors. Taught history and ESL through Music for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade in NYC. Other experience includes working in Disaster Services and Communications at the American Red Cross as an Emergency Services Representative as a Trainer, Nighttime Supervisor, and managed funds for 7 years. He has been Vice-President for the past 12 years in a NYC nonprofit. His compilation of poems, "Captured Thoughts" was published in 2004.
