Brandon Hall

Brandon began drafting for a residential design firm at the age of 14 in Las Vegas. He attended a high school academy where he focused on computer drafting and Spanish. At the age of 24, while still working and attending architecture school, he passed the exams to be a Nevada licensed Residential Designer. He was possibly the youngest to receive that license and pass all the exams in one try. In 2008 and 2011, Brandon earned his Bachelor's and Master of Architecture degrees at UNLV. He continued to work on residential and commercial projects through school, completing many meaningful projects and working with several great designers and architects. Brandon and his family relocated to northern Utah in 2012, where he continued to work on residential and commercial projects. He was able to successfully complete many large hotel projects in several states and other offices and mixed-use buildings. In 2014, Brandon earned his Architect license upon passing all seven rigorous licensing exams for the first time. He believes in paying attention to details and in providing quality design. Owners and consultants have come to trust and recommend him highly. In the summer of 2017, Brandon joined MRW Design Associates in southern Utah and continues his passion for architecture as he manages and designs projects. He currently resides in a small town in southern Utah with his wife and four young children.

Jeff Mathis

Job Titles:

Jeff began drafting and design in a professional environment as a high school student and continued working throughout the process of receiving his formal architectural education. His early experience was in Civil Engineering, where he completed civil construction drawings and participated in land master planning, infrastructure, site grading, and public road design. In the fall of 1999, Jeff joined Greg at MRW Design Associates. In the ensuing years, he has progressed from basic design and drafting support into fulfilling all roles associated with being the principal architect at MRW. Jeff obtained his professional educational degree, a Master of Architecture, from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, School of Architecture, in the spring of 2007. Jeff ensures project continuity from concept to completion by providing complete project design, drafting, and coordination. He works with key project players from the site and building design to construction document production and the required governmental approval processes and construction administration. Jeff currently holds active registration/licensure in the following states: Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and Idaho. He is also NCARB Certified; this certification provides a clear path for registration/licensure in most states.

John Craven

With a family heritage in the architecture and engineering fields, John was always interested in having a similar rewarding career. He pursued his education at Utah State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1997, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering. After graduation, John completed his Engineer-In-Training work in Salt Lake City, Utah. He became a Licensed Professional Engineer in January of 2002. In the spring of 2005, John moved to Cedar City, where he created a Structural Engineering Team at a Civil Engineering Firm. He hired engineers and trained draftsmen to provide accurate drawings. While employed there, John became a Licensed Structural Engineer. Consequently, John's team in Cedar City provided Structural Engineering Services for MRW Design Associates, Inc. In the spring of 2011, John joined the team at MRW Design. John has continued to provide quality structural engineering services for MRW's projects. John works closely with the architect and draftsmen to ensure quality structural engineering plans that coordinate with the architectural design. From start to finish, John is involved in all phases of the project, including preliminary design, structural design, building permit review, and construction. John is currently a Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) in Utah. John is also a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Arizona, and Nevada.
