New materials (Taizhou) Research Institute of Shanghai University is a research institute established by Shanghai University in Jiangyan District, Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, with independent legal person qualification and corporate operation. As an entity, new materials (Taizhou) Research Institute Co., Ltd. above the research institute has completed the company registration in September 2018. Dong Han, Dean of the Research Institute, is a famous iron and steel research expert in China, 973 chief scientist, and now dean of the school of materials science and engineering, Shanghai University. At present, the Institute has 24 employees, 9 with doctoral degree or above, and 12 with graduate degree.
