PAPIN CPA - Key Persons
Catherine Blake joined Papin CPA in 2019. She assists clients with the Papin CPA Best Practices and accounting services. Her has acquired experience in several different industries which is a benefit to the diverse range of clients Papin CPA serves. This experience specifically with operational and day to day matters offers clients a sounding board for developing internal systems and efficiencies. Currently, Catherine is pursuing an Accounting degree with the intent to obtain her CPA designation.
Catherine is the proud mother of two children. She enjoys road trips and experiencing new dining experiences in her spare time.
Christopher Papin began his career as a CPA and further pursued his interest in the legal aspects of financial concerns by becoming an attorney. Now, he uses both skill sets to better serve clients, particularly those with complex legal and financial needs.
Chris LaGrutta joined the Papin CPA team in 2018. He works exclusively in a remote environment serving clients in several different capacities. He assists with tax preparation, accounting services, and advisory services. Chris started his career in corporate accounting, working with clients in the alcoholic beverage industry. He transitioned to public accounting, where he began to focus on tax services. Chris graduated from SUNY College at Old Westbury in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He is currently sitting for the CPA exam where he hopes to gain his designation.Chris lives in Balmville, NY - a hamlet in the Hudson Valley. He loves to travel, take pictures and is an avid hiker.
Paula Nuxol joined Papin CPA in July 2019 as an Administrative Assistant. She brings a wide range of experience to the Papin CPA team which dovetails with the services that are offered by the firm. She works directly with clients to facilitate timely work, information exchange, and answer questions. For most of her career, Paula worked for various major insurance companies handling litigated liability claims which sparked her interest in the legal field. After leaving the claims field, she worked in the financial services industry as a licensed financial professional for 7 years prior to coming to Oklahoma. She is currently a student at the University of Central Oklahoma pursuing a double major in Accounting and in Legal Studies with the goal of obtaining her CPA designation.
