Barb and Tim teamed up together to establish Preferred Construction, where their desire is to make where you live feel more like home, bringing your visions to life.

Bill brings more than three decades of experience in technology and customer relations to the construction industry and our commitment to excellence in service. Bill joined the Preferred Construction team in 2021, ensuring clients are fully supported and getting the best service possible. Bill loves the outdoors, all sports Tennessee, and cooking on his Big Green Egg for his wife and two children.
Hannah brings a creative approach to our social media and marketing. She adds a new voice to our online presence, which highlights how we connect with our customers and how committed we are to craftsmanship. Hannah taps into the creativity and energy from her previous role as a school teacher working with Preferred Construction. On the weekends, you can find her and her husband spending time with her 3 kids in Knoxville.

Lauren grew up in Maryville and now calls Knoxville her home, where she lives a happy, healthy life with her family. As the clients' first point of contact, she uses her extensive background in customer service to delicately and efficiently juggle all aspects of the client's journey while handling administrative duties to keep projects running smoothly. When she's not working, you can find Lauren and her family hiking and camping.
Rob has been in Knoxville for 3 years. With over 25 years of renovation and general contracting under his belt, Rob is well versed and highly qualified for the gamut of renovation projects. With his experience as a volunteer firefighter/medic you can rest assured that Rob can handle any problem that comes his way. In his free time, he spends time with his 3 kids and restoring classic cars and trucks.
