ELENA is a 42-month research and innovation project funded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 programme (grant number 101016138)... ELENA will develop the first European LNOI PIC (photonic integrated circuit) platform, accessible to all interested entities in the form of an open foundry service... The ELENA consortium consists of renowned European research bodies and industry partners and combines all competencies for delivering disruptive high-performing LNOI PIC solutions that will benefit the entire photonics sector.
