Julie McEvoy Baines is a Registered Architect with over 20 years of experience in the building and construction industry. Over the years she has honed her ability to problem solve, connect with clients and foster compromise with project stakeholders. She has experience in sustainability consulting, multi-family housing, complex infrastructure projects and residential architecture. She enjoys the art of combining integrated project delivery with sustainable design strategies. She is passionate about thoughtful, sustainable design and welcomes the challenges each new project brings. She holds a Bachelor of Marketing from Michigan State University and a Bachelor and Masters in Architecture from Portland State University. Erin Lauer is a Registered Architect in the State of Oregon and with more than 15 years of experience working in the built environment, her passion for sustainable development can be seen on each project on which she has contributed. Erin has worked on a range of projects which achieved a sustainable rating system certification from LEED to Green Globes in projects ranging from small public newly constructed buildings to multifamily homes, large commercial buildings, hospitality, healthcare and sizable government buildings. She encourages the integration from the complete project team by facilitating integrative sustainability workshops and educates professionals on moving forward positively in building practices by presenting at the AIA, teaching exam prep courses and most recently led an 8-hour workshop at Greenbuild 2018 Chicago. Erin practices sustainable living every day by bicycling or taking the bus most places, growing her own food, and sustaining the wellness of herself and others by remaining active in the community as a local yoga instructor, AIA Oregon Committee on the Environment (COTE) Co-Chair, and member of the Save Columbia Pool Outreach Group. Her time away from the office is often enjoyed by nordic skiing or backpacking in the mountain landscape of the Pacific Northwest.
