Prayas Parents Association, a non-profit organisation, envisions an all-inclusive development of the society where evils like illiteracy, gender/sex based discrimination, poverty, etc. don't hamper the growth of its people... Social evils like patriarchy, male chauvinism, domestic violence against women, etc. have weakened the position of women in the society. We as a team aspire to provide a platform to our women in order to transform their personality so that they not only become confident and vocal about their rights, but also financially independent. We will provide adequate workshops to enhance essential skills so that they become self-reliant... In order to root out the stereotypes and taboos attached to the transgender community, we aim to sensitise the society about their issues. We also intend to provide education and inculcate personality development skills to mitigate the vulnerabilities of the transgender community.
