Attorney Drew Ruby is a personal injury lawyer specializing in auto negligence litigation. Throughout his legal career, he has only represented injured people. Drew knew from the onset that he would become a personal injury lawyer, and he strives to hold negligent drivers and commercial carriers responsible for their actions every day.
Mr. Ruby currently serves on the executive board for the Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ) and was a member of MAJ's inaugural Leadership Academy. He is a frequent speaker and moderator at the Institute of Continuing Legal Education's (ICLE) No-Fault Summit where his expertise is shared in front of hundreds of attendees comprised of attorneys, judges, and insurance representatives. His materials have been featured in the No-Fault Summit's attendee book sold by ICLE and relied upon by countless practitioners in the field.
As a Barrister in the American Inns of Court program, Mr. Ruby mentors law students through the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. The Detroit Mercy Law Inn chapter consists of Michigan's most prominent attorneys and judges. In law school, he served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Rae Lee Chabot at the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court of Michigan.
Mr. Ruby has been featured in "Detroit Lawyer" magazine and "The Detroit Jewish News." He received the "One to Watch" Award from the Detroit Bar Association Barristers and is a Super Lawyers Rising Star as designated by his peers. Only five percent of the lawyers in Michigan are selected by Super Lawyers while the "Rising Stars" list recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state.
