Dr. Andra Miller provides guidance and regulatory strategies to scientists, clinicians and industry to facilitate the development of cell and gene based therapies leading to clinical trails using a range of gene therapy vector systems and in a range of clinical indications. In this capacity Dr. Miller interfaces with academia, industry and the regulatory agencies and provides guidance to interpret FDA regulations/guidelines, prepare Phase I, II and III product development strategies, FDA submissions, and assessment of cGMP, cGTP and quality system compliance.

Dr. Hitoshi Kawamura PhD has been an R&D advisor to Restore Vision since 2021, and is currently also the vice president of Research and Development Dept. at Heartseed Inc.
Initially a business development representative for JT (Pharmaceutical Division), he shifted his career to a project manager (PL) for international clinical development before joining a biotech startup at its founding stage as the director of R&D Planning Dept. while fully utilizing his business development experience to support collaboration with foreign entities. He has led some departments in global pharmaceutical companies as well, as director of MSL in Medical Affairs (inflammation/pain/central nervous system/virus), and PL for the Japanese market in a global development project.

Dr. Ken Shimokawa joined the Headland Strategy group as a Sr. Engagement Manager in 2019. He is also a founder and general partner at G4S Capital and the CEO of Bay Bluebird LLC, since 2018.
Before these activities, he served as the president and Chief Investment Officer at Santen Ventures and also headed the US BD team at Santen Pharma. His pharmaceutical industry carrier started with Astellas pharma (Yamanouchi before the merger) as a medicinal chemist, Global project leader for clinical study in the CNS field, business development, and venture capitalist.
