The honorary consulate of Italy in San Diego is part of the Italian consular network and operates under the direction and guidance of the consulate general of Italy in Los Angeles. Other honorary consulates within the jurisdiction of the Los Angeles consulate general include offices in Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. Honorary consuls maintain their positions on a volunteer basis. Local services are limited by decree, and the primary resource for assistance remains the consulate general of Italy in Los Angeles. We are located at Amici House, the community and event center in Little Italy... Please do NOT make an appointment for renewal if you still have more than six months before expiration as we cannot process your request. You must wait until your passport is within the six-month time frame of expiration.
