Late Shri Madan Lal Malhotra was a beacon of kindness, humility, and inspiration. His life's journey is a testament to his profound commitment to social causes and community welfare. In 2008, he established the SDMC Trust in memory of his wife, Late Smt. Sita Devi Malhotra, marking the beginning of a significant chapter in his life dedicated to serving the needy. His vision led to the formation of a healthcare dispensary in Gagret, Una district, Himachal Pradesh, in 2009, laying the foundation for the Trust's expansive charitable work.
Before his philanthropic endeavors, Mr. Malhotra served the nation with great dedication as an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer. His career in civil service was marked by integrity and commitment to public service. He embarked on a new journey following his retirement, joining the Board of Directors of Luminous Tech and several other companies. This phase of his life underscored his versatility and continued desire to contribute positively to society. His experience in governance and business greatly benefited these organizations and enriched his perspective on addressing social issues.

Mr. Navneet Kapoor holds a B.E. in Electronics from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh. He is the founder-director of Luminous Electronics Ltd (LEL), established in 1992, which manufactures power products as a pioneer in the field. Following the merger of LEL with Luminous Power Technologies Pvt. Ltd., he headed the manufacturing, supply chain, and R&D operations of the company. Under his leadership, the company set up multiple state-of-the-art manufacturing plants in India, primarily in Himachal Pradesh, and one in China for exports. Many innovative products have been developed and commercialized under his guidance.
He has over 20 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, project management, R&D, general management, and strategic business leadership, growing over the years into a strong business leader.

Mr. Paresh Pradhan is a business leader with more than three decades of experience in Business Development, Project Management, Strategic Alliances, General Management, and Human Resources Management. He is a founding member of the SAR Group with diversified business interests. By qualification, he holds a degree in Mathematics and a Graduate Engineer in Electronics and Communication.
His journey with the SAR Group began in 1992 at Luminous, where he started as a Sales Engineer and, over the years, progressed to various leadership roles. His last executive assignment was as the Director & CEO of SAR Group's Cleantech venture, Livgreen Cleantech Pvt. Ltd. Additionally, he held the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at SAR Group.
Currently, he serves as a Board Member of SAR Group companies, namely Livguard Energy Technologies, Livpure Pvt. Ltd., Lectrix EV Pvt. Ltd., and Mooving Smart Mobility & Energy Pvt. Ltd. On the Social Development side, he is the Managing Trustee of Sita Devi Malhotra Charitable Trust and Livpure Foundation. Furthermore, he chairs a start-up HR Advisory firm focused on serving Start-ups and SMBs in India.
Given his passion for People Development, he dedicates time to coaching individuals. Mr. Pradhan is a "Certified Success Life Coach" accredited by the Certified Coaches Alliance, BS, Canada, and a "Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach."

Mr. Rakesh Malhotra, Founder, SAR Group, carries an illustrious business background spanning close to 35 years of experience in the field of design, development & marketing of power conditioning & electronics products, telecom equipment & projects, corporate management, human resource development, financial management, venture negotiations and business leadership. Mr. Rakesh Malhotra studied to be an engineer (B.E.) and after a brief stint in the industry (Siemens, Nelco and Mitsui) decided to become an entrepreneur who built Luminous Power Technologies (founded in 1988) from scratch. After divesting stakes to Schneider Electric he decided to start all over again.
He is incubating a number of new businesses - Water, Energy Storage, Renewable Energy & and has also set up an India focused VC fund with an anchor investment commitment of USD 30 million. He brings strong capabilities in technology, manufacturing, supply chain, distribution and brand development, besides a very deep understanding of entrepreneurial environment in the country. He also has wide experience in building brands and distribution in India, Asia and Africa with five successful businesses. Livpure Pvt. Ltd., (founded in 2012) one of the key ventures in the SAR Group, was established by him with a vision to be a global leader in water purification driven by innovative technology and excellence in manufacturing and services.

Mrs. Nirupama Malhotra dedicates her philanthropic efforts, especially to schools in low-income areas, with a special emphasis on fostering improvements in the quality of primary education. She has keen insight and understanding of the challenges posed by eating disorders, by virtue of her family's personal experience. This transformative journey has ignited her passion for advocating on behalf of mental health causes, and she actively engages in public speaking to share insights and promote awareness.
Mrs. Malhotra holds a postgraduate degree in mathematics from Delhi University and also holds a B.Ed degree.
