Stephen L. Chou has extensive experience in the area of real estate transactions, both residential and commercial, having practiced for several years at real estate law firms in Manhattan. At Poon & Rinn, LLC, Mr. Chou represented clients in the purchase and sale of both residential and commercial properties in the five boroughs, Westchester, and Long Island. He also represented lenders in the financing of both residential and commercial properties in New York. At Lynch and Associates, Mr. Chou represented lenders in the financing of multifamily, commercial and mixed-use properties in New York.
During law school, Mr. Chou advocated and negotiated for the elderly in St John's Elder Law Clinic and low-income individuals in St John's Securities Arbitration Clinic. Mr. Chou also served on the student Editorial Board for The N.Y. Real Property Law Journal, an official publication of the New York State Bar Association's Real Property Law Section.
Mr. Chou was admitted to the New York State bar in 2013. He was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in English from The City University of New York at Queens College in 2007 and a Juris Doctorate Degree from St. John's University School of Law in 2011.
