In case you are interested in the story, the why, and the family behind the lodge here is a little bit about us! We are the Proctors and permanently reside in East Texas (where unfortunately not a single mountain can be seen). We have two boys and one recently added little princess and deeply desired a place for them to make memories as they grow up. A place rich in outdoor activities, plentiful in God's beautiful creations, and where a slower pace of living is enjoyed. We love hiking, water sports, fly-fishing, and anything else that gets us out and about. We found Blue Ridge to be the perfect balance of away-from-it-all while offering more activities than we could do in a dozen visits... Hi, we are the Proctors.
