- Head of Power Systems Technologies at Synaptec
Dr Steven Blair is the Head of Power Systems Technologies at Synaptec. He leads Synaptec's software and data analytics strategy. He holds a PhD in Electronic & Electrical Engineering and an MEng in Computer & Electronic Systems from the University of Strathclyde. He has been both a researcher and academic at the University of Strathclyde, including holding the Nokia lectureship position. He is very experienced in power system protection, power quality, real-time systems, IEC 61850, and communications technologies. Dr Blair is a member of IEC TC57 Working Group 10.

Mr. B. Macpherson is a Fourth-year student at the University of Strathclyde, working towards his MEng degree in Computer Science, who joined the project in 2020 with the goal of kick-starting his career in sustainability and technology.
Mr. C. Docherty is a student at the University of Strathclyde studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering and in his 2nd year of studying

A second-year student at the University of Strathclyde, working towards an MEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering. Joined the team this year to work on the database development team. Passionate about renewable energy and sustainable development.
Mr. S. Usami is a second-year BSc (Hons) Computer Science student at the University of Strathclyde, and this is his second year within the SGMVP project. He is interested in Data Science and focusing on how to use the collected data and building up a new application for SGMVP.
Mr. T. Yao is a third-year undergraduate student in the University of Strathclyde. He is currently working on the maintenance and development of SGMVP webpage.
