Bridget Waller

Bridget Correll Waller has a 25-year track record of creating and implementing multi-faceted communications strategies that shape public opinion, strengthen relationships, position regulatory and legislative initiatives, and foster business development. Bridget started her public relations consulting company in 2015. Bridget's recent clients include Global Medical Response, the City of Knoxville, Great Schools Partnership, Project GRAD Knoxville and the Knox Education Foundation. Before restarting her PR business, Bridget served for nine years as community and government relations manager at the Y-12 National Security Complex. In this role, Bridget served as Y-12's primary liaison with the local and regional community. She also served as the communications lead and main spokesperson for Y-12's Joint Information Center and for the National Nuclear Security Administration's $6.5 billion Uranium Processing Facility (UPF) project. Bridget also has served in leadership positions with the Ingram Group and Akins & Crisp Public Strategies. Bridget started her career as a news reporter and writer with the Knoxville News-Sentinel, the original Knoxville Journal and Whittle Communications; and credits that experience in strengthening her ability to work with the media on behalf of her clients.

Susan Richardson Williams has spent most of her life in the public and private sector working primarily in the government and community relations arenas and is well-known throughout the region as a leader in public affairs and business. In addition to years of expertise, Susan brings her relationships within government, industry, and the media to her clients, which include Gulf & Ohio Railways, Locust Street Group, Merit Construction, The Hollingsworth Foundation and The Utility Management Federation. Prior to launching SRW & Associates, Susan managed the Knoxville office of The Ingram Group, a statewide public relations firm. She has been in the Cabinet of two Governors and on the staff of a third. She was a Tennessee press representative for a U.S. Senator and was elected Chair of the Tennessee Republican Party. Williams also served for eight years as Associate Athletics Director with the University of Tennessee Lady Vols. In 2006, Susan was nominated by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the U.S. Senate as a member of the Tennessee Valley Authority Board of Directors. During her term, she led efforts to establish a new land policy for TVA, which resulted in her being named "Land Conservationist of the Year" by the Tennessee Wildlife Federation. She served 12 years on the University of Tennessee's Board of Trustees where she chaired the Advancement and Communications Committee and also served on the Executive Committee. She is a current board member and past president of the East Tennessee Historical Society, a member of the Executive Women's Association, and a former board member of the Knoxville Opera Company, and alumnus of Leadership Knoxville. She also currently serves on the Knoxville Chamber Board of Directors and chairs the Government Relations Committee as well as serving on the Historic Tennessee Theatre Board of Directors and the YMCA Board. Susan also serves on the Advisory Board of the Legacy Parks Foundation and the Tennessee Wildlife Federation. Susan is also a regular panelist on WBIR-TV's "Inside Tennessee," a weekly political insiders' television show and appears regularly on local radio talk shows as a commentator. In 2007 and 2008, Susan was listed on the "Top 100 Most Powerful Tennesseans" in the "Business TN" magazine, one of a very few women in east Tennessee. Her service on both the TVA and UT Boards were unique in Tennessee's history. She was honored by the YWCA as one of "Thirty Remarkable Women" in the Knoxville area who have made a difference in the community. Susan grew up in Savannah, Tennessee and holds a Cum Laude bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee. She is married to Dick Williams of Greeneville, and has three grown children. She and Dick are currently raising their 20 year-old grandson, Jordan and their 18 year-old granddaughter, Janae. In her spare time, Susan enjoys the beach, golf, reading and politics.

Susan Arp

Susan Arp has more than 35 years experience in government and community planning, non-profit management and media relations throughout East Tennessee. She brings expertise in fund development consultation for non-profit organizations, developing and executing public relations strategies, branding campaigns and events, and coordinating media and community relations for her clients. Susan's experience with non-profit and quasi-public agencies as a planner, fund development officer and chief executive give her real-world experience and know-how. She has served as an Account Executive with The Ingram Group public affairs firm, Administrative and Development Director of Knoxville Opera, and nine years as Executive Director of United Way of Greater Kingsport. She began her career in Chattanooga in 1971, and worked for 14 years in regional public planning positions in the Chattanooga area. In 2016 she worked with Equinox Environmental on a City of Knoxville contract to develop the Urban Wilderness Vision Plan and was responsible for coordinating Stakeholder Engagement. Current clients include the East Tennessee Historical Society and Locust Street Group. Recent projects also included a Fundraising Feasibility Assessment on the Maryville-to-Townsend Greenway Master Plan for the Regional Greenway Council and five years coordinating the public relations and branding for the Pat Summitt Foundation. She served as an Account Representative during the SRW's team's five-year contract for public and community relations with the Knoxville Community Development Corporation, as well as in a similar role during the SRW team's public and community relations contract with the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN. She was the primary project manager responsible for organizing and producing the highly successful 2007 and 2011 East Tennessee Quality Growth Conferences held in Knoxville, Tennessee Susan has lived throughout middle and east Tennessee, attended Middle Tennessee State University and completed a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. She is an alumna of Leadership Kingsport, Leadership Johnson City, University of Tennessee Knoxville's Chancellor's Associates. She was a member of the Leadership Knoxville Class of 2018. Susan enjoys traveling to fun places, spoiling her two granddaughters, relaxing with friends and family at their Watts Bar Lake Cabin or exploring the lake on their pontoon boat.
