Curtis Wondra

Job Titles:
  • National Sales Manager
Curtis has managed sales teams and customer relationships for over 16 years while designing various water and steam systems for HVAC and industrial processes. He manages the direct sales efforts for The Detection Group as well as our network of 55 representatives across the United States. Prior to his positions at Watts, Curtis worked for two different manufacturer's representatives, managing a sales portfolio of 40+ manufacturers and suppliers. Before his HVAC and industrial experience, Curtis was a design engineer for Cessna, working on airframe and flight control design for the Citation line of jets. Curtis holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Wichita State University.

David Wetle

Job Titles:
  • Engineering Leader
  • VP Engineering & Development
David is a proven Engineering leader with 30 years of technical experience delivering commercial solutions for a variety of commercial and enterprise applications. David has broad and deep domain expertise in IOT, networking, radio, VoIP and lighting. Most recently, David served as VP Engineering at Altierre, providing connected IOT solutions for the retail industry. Prior to that David was VP Engineering at LUMA for industrial lighting products and VP Hardware at Soma Networks for global customer-premises equipment (CPE) and Base Station solutions.  David earned an MSEE from Santa Clara University, and a BSEE from San Jose State University. He also has received a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from Villanova University and is PMP certified by the Project Management Institute.

Glen Paulus

Job Titles:
  • Director of Product
Glen, with a proven ability to not only design computer systems, but to elegantly integrate those systems with other technological devices, has been with The Detection Group since its inception. He focuses his time single-mindedly on ensuring we are always the best-in-class, commercial-grade wireless water leak detection system available. Glen graduated from San Diego State University with a BS in Computer Engineering.

Kelsie Tuttle

Job Titles:
  • Marketing Manager
Kelsie is a data-driven marketer with planning, creative, and account management advertising agency experience in highly competitive, technology-driven businesses. Her experience combines the strategic application of both traditional marketing and digital/social media to ensure messaging reaches all critical, high-value targets in dynamic marketplaces. Kelsie is a graduate of Colorado State University with a dual BA in Communication and Political Science. She has also received an advanced study Certificate of Advertising from the University of Colorado.

Matt Barth

Job Titles:
  • Vice President, Channel Sales and Founder
Matt brings 25 years of experience in various aspects of the commercial restoration and construction industry. In 2004, Matt realized the need for a smoke alarm for water and created the forerunner to what is now The Detection Group, Inc. Currently an executive leader in the company, Matt focuses on business development and helping customers and potential customers to learn more about the Trident System. Matt is the RMO for The Detection Group's Class B CSLB License. He has a Business Administration degree from San Diego State University.

Rich Twomey

Job Titles:
  • Field Service Operations Manager
Rich brings more than 20 years of Operations and Field Service Management expertise with a laser focus on the Customer Experience to The Detection Group. Prior to his current role, Rich served as Field Service Operations Manager of the West Region at Black Box, where over the course of his career, he led his team to all-time high output and service levels. Rich began his professional path at Charles River Associates, Inc., where promotions led to his role as Global Manager of Telecommunications for the international economic consulting firm, overseeing systems and staff on three continents.
