I have been using R, Shiny and the Tidyverse to provide business insights for the Civil Assets Team. We have been busy trialing optimisation techniques (constraint based optimisation) , unsupervised learning (hierarchical and k-means) along with visualisations to improve decision making. In 2018, our system "The NOC" won the NSW IPWEA awards and our system was entered into the National IPWEA Awards.
