Dr. Encinas is the Director of International Relations at Skysong Innovations. In this position, Carlos is responsible for establishing international technology transfer collaborations and aiding in the commercialization of foreign technologies in the US. He also supports the Life Sciences team with business development activities and technology scouting. In addition, Carlos functions as the Chief Science Officer for BioLab Sciences (BLS), a biotechnology-based company that he helped establish in 2018. His main responsibilities are to define the scientific strategy and vision of BLS, identify novel products and help support production and laboratory operations. Previously, Dr. Encinas held the position of Director of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (CSMC) Technology Transfer Office in Los Angeles where he was directly responsible for technology development and commercialization.
Dr. Encinas has served in different leadership positions in a variety of technology-based companies. His experience includes positions as CFO, COO, CSO, senior management, and advisory roles for start-ups in the US, Europe, and South America. He has helped found several companies, focusing mainly on early-stage development of life sciences and green technologies.
Dr. Encinas holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology and an MBA with an emphasis in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Arizona and a BS in Biotechnology Engineering.

Kaoutar Sellami is a Marketing Communications Manager at UM6P Ventures. She ensures the execution of the innovation and entrepreneurship programs and manages the marketing and communications of the company. Kaoutar was the power behind the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem and coordinated the innovation fund program developed in collaboration with MIT Sandbox. Kaoutar holds a master's degree (MSc) in Engineering and Quality Management and is also a Ph.D. candidate in the field of Science Management.

Steven is Principal, Marketing Strategy & Planning at Lake Consulting, helping technology and professional service businesses develop marketing and business strategies to achieve business objectives. He brings discipline and market orientation to teams consumed with near-term tactical priorities. Steven is also LLC Manager at Canyons Land and Minerals LLC, responsible for operations, finances, transactions, communications, and reporting for investment partnerships in domestic oil production ventures. In addition, he is responsible for operations, finances, transactions, communications, and reporting for investment partnerships in domestic oil production and property development ventures at Forbes Lake Investors LLC.
Prior to that, Steven was the Executive Director at the Tahoe City Downtown Association with responsibility for all daily operations, planning and execution of all events, programs and advocacy for local business community on public and private issues. He was also responsible for all financial management, including fundraising and grants. In addition, Steven held numerous executive management roles in marketing at leading technology companies including Cisco, HP, and Apple.

Tarek Mghizou is a Senior Investment Analyst at UM6P Ventures, primarily responsible for conducting financial and business due diligence for potential investment opportunities.
Tarek started his career as a Financial Services consultant at DXC Technology in Paris, specializing in strategy, management, and IT consulting. In this role, he was assigned on digital transformation programs, IT mergers, and restructuring projects within top-tier Banking and Insurance Companies.
Prior, Tarek worked as an M&A analyst, actively participating in mid & large-cap transactions within the agri-food industry.
Tarek is a graduate of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne University and holds a master's degree in finance and a master's degree in IT, Management & Strategy Consulting.
