TURNTABLE TRUST

The Turn Table Trust (TTT) is a community based non-profit organization (NPO) registered with the Department of Social Development in South Africa... Formed in 1983, Turntable Trust has worked in the surrounding sub districts of Ingwe and KwaSani which form part of the greater district of Harry Gwala. It has a dedicated HIV/AIDS unit trained to work in this field. The total population who benefit from TTT's work is approximately 132,000 people mainly from rural areas... TTT works in schools to advance equal education, we work with Peer Educators who are groomed through a phased capacity building process to facilitate health communication in their schools and to support the regeneration of a supportive environment for learning. Our involvement in schools has also cascaded our services to support School Governing Bodies to provide governance and School Management Teams to administer day-to-day operations.
