Dong Wang is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Tsinghua University. She received a B.S. in chemical physics (1995) and a Ph.D. in physical chemistry (2000) from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). She had six years' postdoctoral experience at University of Michigan and University of Utah before joining the faculty of Tsinghua University in 2010. Dong Wang‘s group focuses on theory and modelling of emerging materials for electronic, thermoelectric, and optoelectronic applications. Her work up to date includes developing computational methods to model charge and thermal transport in organic, organic-inorganic perovskite and 2D materials, as well as simulation of supramolecular assembly in aqueous solution and on the surface of 2D materials.
