Blake serves as Vice President of Finance for White Knight, managing all aspects of treasury and accounting. Blake was instrumental in building the finance and accounting functions of the company from startup through today.
Prior to joining White Knight, Blake was the Managing Partner for Prejean Romero McGee, LLC (PRM), an accounting firm serving the energy industry. While at PRM, Blake managed the Finance and Accounting operations for various E&P, oilfield service, and energy lending companies. Prior to PRM, Blake was a management consultant in Deloitte Consulting's energy practice in Houston. Blake earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees from Millsaps College.
Michelle joined the company in June of 2018 and manages the Corporate Business Plan, as well as the Marketing function. She joins the company with 20 years oil and gas experience, heavily focused on all aspects of operations, as well as marketing and financial planning.
Prior to joining White Knight, Michelle worked at Unocal, Oxy, and Stone Energy in various basins throughout the US, including offshore Gulf of Mexico, Onshore Gulf Coast, Permian Basin, and California.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from LSU and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Louisiana. She is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and has previously served as a Board member.
Rich was named CEO of White Knight Production LLC in December 2018. He originally joined the company in June 2015 as VP of Operations, leading the operational startup of the company though both the original acquisition of the California properties and the subsequent acquisition of the Texas properties.
Prior to joining White Knight, Rich spent his nearly 25 year career in various engineering, operations, and management positions with Unocal Corp, Samson Resources, Texas Petroleum Investment Company, and PetroQuest Energy. As Operations Manager for PetroQuest's Oklahoma assets, Rich was recognized for his operational leadership by receiving the 2014 SPE Mid Con Region Operations and Production Award. Rich has experience in the Gulf Coast, Gulf of Mexico, East Texas, Mid-Continent, and San Joaquin Basins in the U.S.
Rich earned a Bachelor of Science Degree Cum Laude in Petroleum Engineering from Missouri S&T University. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the American Petroleum Institute where he has served both organizations as board member and officer.
Thomas joined White Knight in January 2018 to manage the land and business development opportunities for the company. Thomas has 34 Years of Land, Business Development and A&D experience, including executive and Board of Director positions with Camber Energy, Davis Petroleum Corp, Eco-Stim Energy Solutions, Kerogen Resources, Particle Drilling Technologies, and PetroCorp Inc.
Thomas has worked multiple basins across the US, including Gulf Coast areas, East Texas, Mississippi, Deepwater GoM, Permian Basin, Eagleford, Mid-Con, Barnett, Bakken, and Canada
Thomas holds a Bachelors of Petroleum Land Management from UT-Austin and is a member of AAPL and HAPL, having served as both Director and Committee chair.
