Wika Type Foundry was born out of Øystein Wika's dual passions for music and design. Originally driven by a need to create unique band logos and poster designs, Øystein's early foray into type design began with hand-drawn fonts in 1987. He later transitioned to digital font creation using Macromedia's Fontographer and has since moved to Glyphs as his tool of choice... Wika Type Foundry creates custom fonts and type-based logo designs, combining the creative passions of Norwegian guitarist and designer Øystein Wika.
