Zoe lives and works in the beautiful city of Bath and feels very lucky to be able to make pictures all day. She loves storytelling in all forms and is at her happiest outside. When she's not drawing she can probably be found reading a book, climbing a hill or teaching a yoga class... After honing her illustration skills over many years as an in-house artist in the greetings card industry, Zoe went freelance in 2020, diversifying into the world of book illustration. She loves creating imaginary worlds and populating them with unique characters. She believes children's books should primarily be fun, but is also passionate about the role of stories in children's education and their emotional development.
