Maja Vitezić is an Office Manager at VX Associates responsible for coordinating team efforts, organising events, internal events and team building, providing support in projects and client management, and other administrative support tasks. She holds a bachelor's Degree in political science and European Studies. She graduated from the Faculty of Political Science, the University of Zagreb, in International Relations. She also holds a postgraduate specialist study diploma in Diplomacy.
In her previous roles, she worked at the Consulate of the Kingdom of Thailand, where she held the position of the consular officer and head of the office. Her primary duties were consular tasks and office administration. As part of that job, she spent one month in Thailand. She worked at the Embassy of the PR of China as a consular official and advisor to the political department. Further, she worked at the European Parliament as the DG for Parliamentary Research in Brussels, Belgium.
She speaks English, Spanish, French, Polish and Mandarin Chinese.
In her spare time, she reads crime novels and books about history and politics.

Marta Zadravec is our Digital Marketing Associate where she creates content on several social media platforms, works on the design of the VentureXchange website, Turnaround Management Association (TMA Croatia) and Croatian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (CVCA) websites.
Marta graduated at the Faculty of Economics in Marketing in Zagreb. During her studies, she studied International Business at the University of Economics in Cracow as part of CEEPUS student exchange program. During her studies, Marta was part of many student associations in the region and participated in Erasmus Volunteering programs in the EU.
Marta Zadravec worked as a social media curator in digital marketing department at FOREO, one of the leading beauty brands. During her placement at FOREO, she was suggesting and writing content for social media and working on engagement strategy for the brand. Marta is passionate about digital marketing, creative approach to content and new technologies.
With her marketing background, she gained skills in content creation, basic design techniques, and a creative mindset with excellent business communication skills. She speaks English (fluent), German (basic), and Croatian (mother tongue).

Martina holds the position of a Financial Analyst at VX Associates, where she performs market research, participates in various projects and assists the senior associates in financial modelling, company valuation and data analysis. Martina is spearheading the project on the economic impact analysis of the Croatian private equity and venture capital industry, including case studies.
Martina became passionate about finance during her analyst internship at LeitnerLeitner. Martina holds an undergraduate degree in Business Mathematics and Economics and an MBA in Human Resource Management. She is fluent in English and Croatian and has an intermediate-level knowledge of German. Additionally, she is a member of the Croatian Mensa and holds the Cambridge level 3 Certificate in ESOL International English (Proficiency*).
Martina has a broad mindset and puts great emphasis on constant education. She is constantly enriching her education through collected certifications in institutions such as Concord College (Shrewsbury, UK), Headington School (Oxford, UK) and Berlitz (Berlin, Germany). Martina always seeks improvement and challenges. She is an SIA-certified snowboarding instructor, was the junior dressage state champion when she was 14 years old and now actively competes in show jumping in Zagreb, Slovenia and Slovakia.
Mirna Marovic is the Founder and CEO of VX Associates where she conducts financial and private sector development assignments for international financing institutions (IFIs) in South-East Europe (SEE), as well as works on private equity & venture capital and financial advisory projects. She served as a project manager in producing the Western Balkans Venture Capital Assessment, a study used in the preparation of the Western Balkans Enterprise Development & Innovation Facility (WB EDIF), a joint initiative of the EU, IFIs, bilateral donors and governments of the Western Balkans with EUR 145 million of initial capital which is expected to effectively translate into over EUR 300 million in direct financing for SMEs in the region.
For many years she has successfully combined the high-profile consultancy assignments and academia, working as a Lecturer at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management. She also served as Assistant Minister at the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. Prior to her return to Croatia in 2004, she was based in London and held corporate and structured finance positions at major investment banks including Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas and Credit Agricole Indosuez.
She has orchestrated the establishment of Turnaround Management Association Croatia (TMA Croatia) and the Croatian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (CVCA). She is currently the President of CVCA, TMA Croatia and INSEAD Alumni Association Croatia & Slovenia.
She holds an MBA from INSEAD, an undergraduate degree in Economics (BSc Econ) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and has completed postgraduate certification courses at the LSE (Climate Change: Economics and Governance), the London Business School (Investment Management, Corporate Finance, Sustainability Leadership and Corporate Governance) and Harvard Business School (Sustainable Business Strategy). She is currently pursuing a PhD in Financial Management at the Faculty of Economics, the University of Ljubljana with a thesis on private equity and venture capital (degree expected in 2021). She holds the EFFAS Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA®) diploma, the Certified Appraiser Diploma from the Croatian Society of Appraisers, as well as other professional qualifications. She speaks six languages: English (fluent), French (fluent), Italian (fluent), Spanish (fluent), Russian (good), and Croatian (mother tongue).

Vanda Paksec is a Sustainability/ ESG Analyst at VX Associates where she provides advisory service to our clients on integrating ESG objectives into their business; this includes data collection and analysis, ESG screening and due diligence, preparing ESG internal and external report by using international reporting standards and ensuring their compliance with the EU sustainability regulations.
Vanda received her bachelor's degree from The Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology in Zagreb, and then continued her education in Denmark where she graduated from The University of Southern Denmark as an Environmental Engineer. With her engineering background she has excellent data analysis skills and a strong insight in sustainability and environmental regulation.
