Much of WBR's initial success came from the expertise and reputation handed down to them by their fathers, Ed Williamson and Mahlon Smoker, who have each served this area for over 30 years. Ed and Mahlon not only became experienced in serving the Finger Lakes area but also reached mastery in their professions.
