Safari Catering Services is a new community enterprise which started with a group of African women and registered as a company limited by Guarantee in May 2021 during the COVID 19 lock down. The organisation's activities include - developing, promoting and providing training in African foods and also retailing quality, fresh and delicious African healthy foods to Sheffield communities at affordable prices. - they also provide information, advice and support on African foods that can help to tackle obesity to BME women in the community and what they should encourage their family especially children to on their daily menu through advice, training, information sharing... Safari Catering is a social enterprise set up and run by a group of BME women in Sheffield to provide periodic training on how to cook healthy African foods in order to reduce the rate of obesity among the black minority ethnic homes.
