KWOFF - Key Persons

David Jones started Kwoff with help from his father, Peter and brother Rob. It was an idea born from a family trip to Tuscany for Peter's 60 th birthday. We all love wine, who doesn't, but when sat in a restaurant on the Tuscany-Umbria border, hanging on the every word of a warm, passionate owner who's only mission right there at that moment in time was to ensure we got a phenomenal wine to go with our meal, we just realised the way it was sold in Britain was often so elitist and stuffy. And when it wasn't, you had to contend with the pile it high and sell it cheap chain stores, supermarkets and mail order companies with little real focus on quality. There seemed to be no middle ground. Why? And so it was David started to form the idea of a business that would become that middle ground. At each family occasion we would explore the idea a little more until we reached a point where it had to happen!
