ASKMYGP - Key Persons

Daniel O'Shea

Job Titles:
  • Project and Services Manager
Starting out as a broom salesman Dan eventually opted for a change in career, diving headfirst into general practice and assuming a range of different roles from reception/administration to practice management over a 5 year period. Along the way he developed a strong understanding and interest in primary care informatics systems and hopes his "hands-on" experience will be a useful tool when providing support to the askmyGP user base. In his downtime, he enjoys making fun memories with his two young children and joining in with their mischief, much to the dismay of his long-suffering partner.

  • Operations Manager
Debbie started her career in HR and worked as an HR Business Partner in the Pharmaceutical Industry for several years. She is also a qualified Personal Development Coach and Counsellor and has experience of working in the administrative section of the NHS. An engineer by training, Harry founded GP Access in 2011 after discovering some GPs who had invented a new system, and producing the evidence of its astonishing effects. With interests in research, analysis and systems thinking, he is fascinated by how things work and could work better. Sadly he is never satisfied and keeps coming up with new ideas. He promises to stop when there are no more problems.

Rufus originally practiced as a hospital doctor before making the transition to management consultancy over 15 years ago. Since then he's focused on healthcare consulting and developed extensive change management and commercial expertise, particularly as it relates to implementing integrated service models and improved ways of working. When he's not carting his young son around the country he enjoys losing money in the financial markets.
