Dr. Jillian Kaplita is originally from Connecticut. She graduated from Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, and she also completed a minor in music. She then attended Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University with a concentration in medical education. Dr. Kaplita completed ophthalmology residency at Saint Louis University. On top of her clinical and surgical duties during residency, Dr. Kaplita volunteered as the director of her program's chapter of ReSpectacle, a non-profit organization that redistributes used eyeglasses to underserved communities. She was also selected as the wellness champion for her program/department. Additionally, during residency she volunteered as her program's medical student education liaison. In her free time, Dr. Kaplita enjoys figure skating, downhill and cross-country skiing, baking, DIY/craft projects, hiking, camping, singing, playing guitar, going to the beach, traveling, trying new ice cream shops, and collecting playing cards. She is so happy to be back in New England and is excited for everything that Vermont's four seasons have to offer!

Dr. Juli Larson She completed a residency in Ophthalmology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Larson is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a member of the Vermont Ophthalmological Society and was their president in 2013 and 2014. She is also a member of the International Society of Refractive Surgery, the VISX Certified Lasik Surgeon for Sightpath Medical where she is also a member of their advisory board. Sightpath Medical is the largest and most experienced provider of laser services in the world. They have chosen Dr. Larson as one of the Top 5 Refractive Surgeons 2006 to present. Dr. Larson has performed Lasik surgery since 2000 and over 15,000 procedures have been performed successfully in our state of the art laser center. In addition to LASIK surgery, Dr. Larson provides general eye care, treats glaucoma, and performs cataract surgery. She offers specialty intraocular lenses, in hopes of decreasing patients' dependence on glasses, as well as improving their quality of vision after cataract extraction. Dr. Larson is also a founding member of the state's only ambulatory surgery center, providing on-site cataract surgery and other ambulatory eye surgery.

Jennifer DeVita, OD., Graduated from the University at Buffalo in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. She then attended the New England College of Optometry and graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree in 2001. During that time, she interned at the Joslin Diabetes Center, Beth Israel Medical Center, and multiple community health centers in the Boston area. She completed her residency in Ocular Disease at the VA Hospital in Boston, MA in June 2002. During her residency, she also trained at the Mass Eye and Ear infirmary in glaucoma treatment. Dr. DeVita was further trained as a Retina Telemedicine specialist at The Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, MA. After her residency, Dr. DeVita became an assistant professor at the New England College of Optometry and Director of the Eye Clinic at the Community Health Center affiliated with Children's Hospital, Boston. She was an attending to students and was Eye Clinic Director until 2004 when she decided to move to Vermont. Dr. DeVita has been working with Dr. Larson since 2005. She is a member of the Vermont Optometric Association and is board-certified by the American Board of Certification in Medical Optometry. She currently resides with her husband and two children in Colchester, VT.

Lisa Martin Eriksson, O.D., is a 1990 graduate of St. Michael's College and a 1994 graduate of the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. She received the Salutatorian Award from the New England College of Optometry, the Bausch and Lomb Contact with the Future Educational Award, and was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa National Optometric Honor Society.
