DENNIS ABARR COUNSELING

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, with 14 years of experience, providing individual and family counseling services. I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, complicated grief, attachment, adjustment issues, and divorce counseling . I have extensive experience working with Dissociative Identity Disorders (DID) and use ego state therapy often in my work. I am certified in EMDR and am an EMDR consultant. I have integrated neurofeedback, a specialized form of biofeedback, into my practice as a stand alone therapy or to be used in conjunction with psychotherapy. I do minimal talk therapy, mostly focusing on reaching your identified goals using therapeutic tools to process past events and creating a path to be used as a compass towards those goals.
