Supported Living is a service that supports clients to live in their home in the community with supports from a contracted agency. Individuals typically live with two or three housemates, and staff provide teaching or support based on the needs of the individual. Supports may vary from a few hours per month up to 24 hours/day. Supports are determined by a Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) assessment. At Adam's Place, currently all homes are staffed 24 hours a day. Supported Living services are person centered supports, enabling individuals with disabilities to be as independent as possible within their home and community.
