Gigy Cherian was the Global Insurance Consultant for Birla Carbon where he was in-charge of handling the Global Insurance program for all Birla Carbon Entities worldwide. He has 4 decades of experience in underwriting, claims, marketing, and product design. Prior to joining Aditya Birla Capital, he was associated with organizations like Reliance Insurance Broking Limited, Standard Insurance Brokers Limited, and United India Insurance Company Limited.
He has an LLB degree from Govt Law College, Trivandrum and is a Fellow from Insurance Institute of India.
In his previous role, Gururaj Rao was heading Data Engineering and Enterprise Applications at Aditya Birla Capital Limited where he was in-charge of enterprise technology with portfolios including data engineering, B2D digital platform, Enterprise applications and technology governance.
He has over 25 years of experience in IT strategy, data engineering, project delivery and strategic leadership.

Mr. Karan Chopra is the CEO and the Principal Officer of Aditya Birla Insurance Brokers Limited (ABIBL).
He has more than 2 decades of insurance industry experience, including 15 years at CEO/CXO level. He has a strong track record of building profitable businesses in India and Thailand.
Prior to joining ABIBL, Karan has held Chief Executive Officer positions at Hero Insurance Broking India Private Limited and Thaisri Insurance Public Company Limited. In previous assignments he has worked with HDFC ERGO, ICICI Lombard & Aviva Life Insurance
Karan is a mechanical engineer and holds a PGDM (MBA) from IIM Lucknow.

Lalit Vermani was the Chief Risk Officer (Insurance & Operational Risk) at Aditya Birla Capital Limited where he was in-charge of overseeing the governance and risk management processes and identifying potential risks which may lead to enterprise risk.
He has over 30 years of experience in governance, risk & compliance in Financial Services. He was also the CRO for Aditya Birla SunLife Insurance for 10 years and Chief Compliance Officer for Aditya Birla SunLife AMC for 5 years.
Prior to joining Aditya Birla Capital, he worked with Securities & Exchange Board of India for over 4 years. He was also associated with PNB Capital Services Limited, Onida Finance Limited and JM Capital Mutual Funds. He has an MBA in Finance and a qualified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certified by GARP.
With total work experience of around 53 years, Mr. Bhagat has a vast & rich work experience in the insurance domain. He started his career with Eagle Star Insurance Co. Ltd in London. In India, he has worked with insurance companies like Oriental Insurance, National Insurance Co. Ltd & United India Insurance Co. Ltd. in various capacities.
This Commerce graduate who holds a degree of ACII & ACIS (Inter), London has also worked with General Insurance Council of India for a short while. He also extended his expertise to Ispat industry as an advisor post his retirement. Currently he is on the Board of various renowned companies & also an independent non-executive director for Aditya Birla Insurance Brokers Ltd since June 23, 2003.

Ms. Archana Maru has been with Aditya Birla Group since 2012 as Head - Finance, Group Corporate Finance. Ms. Maru is a Chartered Accountant (England & Wales) by qualification and has a vast experience in Mergers, Group Performance, Talent Management, Recruitment and Training, Audit and other business services in Retail as well as Manufacturing Sectors.
Ms. Maru has been associated with PWC - London and New York, CITIBANK - London, HSBC - London, LLYODS Banking Group - London in the past few years.
