Dr Lydia Mosi is a Senior Lecturer at the Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology Department of the University of Ghana.
She has served in this position for over 5 years and has been doing research in exploiting multidisciplinary approaches, insilico genomics and functional laboratory studies to investigate gaps in transmission of Buruli ulcer to identify the niche of Mycobacterium ulcerans and other mycobacteria in the natural environment.
Her areas of interest include; 1) Buruli ulcer, 2) development of rapid diagnostic and intervention strategies for Buruli ulcer disease.
Dr Michael Frimpong is a Research Fellow at the Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research in Tropical Medicine, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. He is also a lecturer, Department of Molecular Medicine, School of Medical Sciences of the same University.
He has over 4 years of experience working as a research fellow, and started as a university lecturer in 2020.
His areas of interest include; 1) molecular diagnostics, 2) point-of-care tests, 3) skin neglected tropical diseases, 4) laboratory quality management system.

Dr. MAMAN Issaka is head of the molecular biology-virology laboratory at the National Institute of Hygiene (INH), Lomé-Togo.
He has over 15 years of work experience, and was formerly technical manager of the Biochemistry laboratory at the same institute.
His areas of interest include: 1) molecular Physiology, 2) Immunogenetics, 3) bioinformatics and genetic Analysis, 4) genomic epidemiology
Dr. Sara Eyangoh currently serves as coordinator of the BU-LABNET program.
Dr. Valerie Donkeng is a Microbiologist and Research Assistant currently working at the National Reference Laboratory for Tuberculosis (NRL-TB), Centre Pasteur du Cameroun (CPC), Yaoundé, Cameroon.
Dr. Vincent Gyang is a Research Fellow at the Public Health and Epidemiology department of the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research (NIMR), Lagos, Nigeria.
He has been a Research Fellow since 2008.
His areas of interest include; 1) molecular epidemiology of NTDs, 2) zoonotic infections.
Mr. MABIKA MABIKA Arsène is a Laboratory scientist at the Bacteriology department of the International Medical Research Center of Franceville (CIRMF), Gabon.
He has over 8 years of work experience in this position
His area of interest includes molecular diagnostics of bacteriological infectious diseases
Mr. Numfor Hycenth is a Microbiologist at Centre Pasteur du Cameroun (CPC), Yaoundé and Cameroon. He is also program manager of the WHO BU-LABNET program.

She has over 8 years of work experience, and also Deputy Director of the West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens, University of Ghana.
Her areas of interest include; 1) diagnosis, 2) host-pathogen interactions, 3) molecular epidemiology of bacterial diseases, 4)tuberculosis, 5)buruli ulcer, 6) trachoma, 7) diarrheal diseases and 8) microbiome.
Prof. Olaoluwa Akinwale is Director of Research (Neglected Tropical Diseases) at the Public Health and Epidemiology department, Nigerian Institute of Medical Research.
She has over 32 years of work experience, and also a visiting professor at the Lead City University, Ibadan, Nigeria.
Her areas of interest include; 1) epidemiology and 2) molecular diagnostics
Prof. Richard Phillips is Scientific Director at the Kumasi Center for Collaborative Research (KCCR), Kumasi Ghana.
He has more than 20 years of experience, also professor at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and Deputy Editor of the PLOS Neglected Tropical Disease Journal and grant reviewer.
His areas of interest include; pathogenesis, 2) diagnosis and management of Mycobacterium ulcerans disease (Buruli ulcer), 3) emerging infectious diseases (HIV, Tuberculosis (Multidrug resistance), Hepatitis C infection), 4) co-infection of HIV with Hepatitis B, C, D, E virus co-infection
