Chris Hughes

Job Titles:
  • Director of Mental Health and Quality
Chris joined AFG in 2019 and is a registered mental health nurse. He holds an Executive MBA in Health Services Management and has held several senior management roles within the health and social care sector. Chris is focused on providing specialist support and rehabilitation services for people with challenging and complex needs through high quality, person-centred care. He is particularly excited by AFG's digital journey so that people can use technology to help manage their condition and support needs.

Emma Worrall

Job Titles:
  • Head of Operations for Mental Health
Emma has been with AFG for over 10 years, where she has held several different clinical roles. Currently Emma is Head of Operations, overseeing all operational aspects both internally and externally for the Group. She is a Registered Mental Health Nurse and holds a BSc in psychosocial interventions, which she gained back in 2012. Emma is passionate about creating the right pathway for people to be able to truly control their own lives.

Karen Redhead

Job Titles:
  • Mental Health Quality Improvement Manager
Karen has many years' experience of working across Acute Adult Mental Health, Rehabilitation and Secure Services. She has worked for AFG for many years and her current role as Mental Health Quality Improvement Manager focuses on the quality of care and support across our hospital and community settings. Karen holds a BSc in Psychosocial Management of Psychosis and a MSc in family and individual CBT for Psychosis. She is particularly focussed on ensuring the highest level of quality and care is received across all AFG's settings.
